Our Commitment
AI Automation LA is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that the web should be open and usable by all, and we actively work to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as referenced in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Measures We Have Taken
To support accessibility, AI Automation LA has implemented the following measures:
- All pages include a skip to main content link for keyboard and screen reader users
- All images include descriptive alt text
- All form fields have associated labels
- All interactive elements (buttons, links, dropdowns) are keyboard accessible and announce their state to assistive technologies using ARIA attributes
- The site respects the prefers-reduced-motion browser setting — all animations are disabled for users who prefer reduced motion
- Color contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Page structure uses semantic HTML landmarks (
<header>,<nav>,<main>,<footer>) for easy navigation - Heading levels follow a logical hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3) without skipping levels
- Decorative icons and images are hidden from screen readers using
aria-hidden="true" - Form submission success messages are announced to screen readers via
aria-liveregions - The site language is declared as English (
lang="en") on the HTML element - Every page has a unique, descriptive
<title>
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some areas of the site are still being improved:
- Blog content images — some images in blog articles are rendered as CSS background images (from imported HTML content) and may not have text alternatives visible to screen readers. We are working to migrate these to proper
<img>elements with alt text. - Third-party content — some content is processed through third-party services (Formspree, Vercel) whose accessibility is governed by their own policies.
We are actively working to resolve these limitations and improve the overall accessibility of our website.
Technical Specifications
This website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:
- HTML5
- CSS3
